GeekDesign.Net is a web consulting firm that specializes in providing affordable solutions in web development. For GeekDesign.Net we wanted to create a corprate identity. We started by creating a simple and clean logos for the site, letter heads, envelopes and business cards. From there we created a layout for the site that is well organized and easy to navigate. The scripting was done in PHP4 and uses a MySQL database.

GeekDesign.Net is made up of completely custom forms, scripts for dynamically generating pages, client and administration logins for content management, and our own customized theme for WordPress.

Learning Japanese is one of the projects of GeekDesign.Net. Our goal is to create an online community to help people who are wanting to learn or visit Japan. This site will contain forums, English/Japanese dictiionary, tutorials, lessons, software, and more. This project will be an ongoing project for the next year or two. Beantown T-Shirts is an online store for all shirt that are boston or Irish. They also do custom printing. Our job was taking a photoshop layout and customize os-commerce (a free database driven storefront) to fit their needs and style. We also converted their paper forms for custom printing into online forms.

Termpapersmonthly.com is another online resource site to help assist students with papers on a specific subject. It provides over 90,000 example papers for students to learn from. Termpapersmonthly.com subscription based site that offers a range of payment options. The scripting was done in PHP4 and uses a MySQL database.

Our role was to design the site for ease of use. The project consisted of the layout, creating a database and table for the papers and users, implementing and customizing a swish-e search engine, and configuring payment options to work with Linkpoint and CCBill.
